Sept. 10, 2005 – The members of Sigma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., in conjunction with the participants of our 2005 Young Pearls Program, will be hosting a Walk-a-Thon on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 6 a.m. beginning at McDonald's Wheatley Center and ending at John Brewers Beach. We are inviting all members of the community to participate in this event, which is in support of our continued contributions for the Gertrude Lockhart Dudley Mechior Scholarship Fund.
