Sept. 30, 2005 – This Saturday, October 1, 2005, on Beyond Politics, a talk show hosted by Senator Ronald E. Russell, the senator will be receiving calls from residents, organizations, and all those interested in suggesting how the 26th Legislature and the governor should spend or save the surplus $60,000,000 in revenue recently announced by the governor. The talk show begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. It is aired on A.M. 970. Sen. Russell's staff will take the information received from the public. Please call the show at 773-0390 to participate in this public discussion and to voice your opinion regarding spending or saving this money.
