Sept. 30, 2005 – The St. John Flower and Garden Show is back for a second time and will run for two days at The Marketplace, Oct. 28 and 29. The finest plant nurseries from St. John and St. Thomas will exhibit their vast inventory of palms, ferns, orchids, bougainvilleas, herbs, and more from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Not your typical plant show, the show will have educational demonstrations on plant care, propagation, organic pest control, irrigation, and landscape design. There will also be discounts and specials all day throughout the Marketplace at participating retail stores. This garden show is a wonderful opportunity for gardeners of all ages and skill levels to learn new planting tips and techniques from the experts, as well as socialize with other local plant enthusiasts.
The Marketplace houses multiple exhibits on all three levels of the shopping center and has parking for hundreds of customers. It is located a short walk or drive from Cruz Bay. Anyone interested in exhibiting at the show should contact the Marketplace at 776-6455
