Oct. 4, 2005 – The Office of the Tax Assessor will be hosting a town meeting for all St. John property owners at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, at The Battery on St. John.
Lieutenant Governor Vargrave Richards will be in attendance to listen to questions and hear concerns about the ongoing Property Tax Reevaluation program. Tax assessor Roy Martin and Sally Powers, program manager for the Property Tax Reevaluation Project, will also be on hand, according to a press release from Richards' office.
