Oct. 19, 2005 – Tune in to Doug Lewis on 107.3 FM Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m. This week you'll be entertained with music from Bob Dylan, Happy Traum, Rachel Ries, and much more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "No Direction Home," the new double CD set from Bob Dylan that is the companion to the American Masters PBS special on Dylan. Except for a couple of tracks the CD consists of previously unreleased studio recordings, as well as some previously unreleased live recordings.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "I Walk the Road Again", the latest release from folk singer Happy Traum. Traum has been releasing great music for a number of years, usually recording as half of Art and Happy Traum. This release is a solo effort.
We include new music from Americana artist Jordan Chassen, blues artist Ellis Hooks, singer- songwriter Rachel Ries, the Siegel-Schwall Band, Eric Clapton, and more.
We also celebrate the birthdays of Dwight Yoakam, Brill Building songwriter Ellie Greenwich and zydeco artist Boozoo Chavis. We also remember legends Al Jolson and Mother Maybelle Carter on the anniversary of their deaths.
We also include music from Alison Krauss and Union Station, Muddy Waters, the Byrds, the Shangri-las, Johnny Cash and more. We also include music from Anna Cheek who will visit our shores for a Virgin Islands tour in January.

Tune in for a chance to win a CD from the excellent young singer-songwriter Amos Lee and a couple of CD singles from Eric Clapton.
The Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line, and Sinker and Molly Molones
