Oct. 19, 2005 – Chairman of the Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission Eileen R. Petersen announced that the regular meeting of the commission would be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 9:30 a.m.The meeting will be held at the Casino Control Commission's office at 5 Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix. The public is invited to attend.
The agenda will include: recommendations for amendments to the VI Casino and Resort Control Act; proposed regulations for self-exclusion; consideration of the adoption of the multi-jurisdictional casino license application; update on the V.I. Internet Gaming Law; and consideration and ratification of casino key employee licenses, casino employee licenses and casino servicing entity licenses.
The commission will also consider Golden Gaming's latest petition for an extension of the reservation of a Casino II Establishment License. According to the press release from the Casino Control Commission, any person wishing to testify for or against this petition must notify the commission in writing no later than Friday, Oct. 21, at 5 p.m.
