District Governor Official Will Visit St. Croix Rotary Clubs


Oct. 19, 2005 – District Governor Thomas Lightbourne will be making his official visit to St. Croix from Oct. 24 until Oct. 29. St. Croix, which is part of Rotary International District 7020, has one Rotaract Club, three Interact Clubs and four Rotary Clubs with 110 Rotarians. Lightbourne is based in Turk and Caicos and is responsible for Rotary International District 7020, which covers the Northern Caribbean from the Bahamas down to St. Barts and consists of ten countries, 20 Rotaract Clubs, 20 Interact Clubs and 64 Rotary Clubs, with membership of about 2600 Rotarians.
He will be hosted during his official visit by: President Paul Andrews, Rotary Club of St. Croix; President Ethelred Christopher, Rotary Club of St. Croix, West; President Claudia Carrington, Rotary Club of St. Croix, Mid Isle; President Lionel Downer, Rotary Club of St. Croix, Harborside; and Assistant Governor Rupert W. Ross Jr.
