Nov. 22, 2005 – The Havensight Mall's annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. The program begins at 6 p.m. with the official tree lighting ceremony followed by the arrival of Santa Claus who will distribute gifts to the first 1,000 children.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Cool Sessions, P'your Passion, Milo's Kings, Antilles Steel Band, BCB Steel Band, Lockhart School Chorus, The Cultural Heritage Dancers and Mocko Jumbie Jamboree.
This event is sponsored by Havensight Merchants and Professional Association, The West Indian Company, Ltd., Cruzan Rum distributed by Premier Wine and Spirits Ltd., St. Thomas Shopping Guide and The Committee to Revive Our Culture, according to a press release from the Havensight Mall Association.
