The Modern Music Feature CD is the latest from Stevie Wonder, A Time to Love. He is back with his first new CD in a few years. This one features the classic Stevie Wonder sound and includes appearances from his daughter and from India Arie.
The Indie Spotlight CD is Boys, Flowers, Miles from talented young singer-songwriter Antje Duvekot, whose career has received a boost with support from Ellis Paul, with whom she is currently touring.
We include new music from alternative country artist Cory Morrow, Kate Rusby, folk icon Eric Bogle, and more.
We also celebrate the birthdays of Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Rabbit.
We also include music from Harmony Dem (playing at the Tillet Gardens Holiday Fair this weekend) and Maxx Cabello, who is touring in the territory in December playing his own brand of fiery electric blues.
We also include songs from the Lovin Spoonful, the Rolling Stones, Ian Tyson, George Harrison, B.B. King, Robert Plant, Eva Cassidy and more.
Tune in for a chance to win some great prizes. We are giving away the latest CD from Kim and Reggie Harris, who will be playing in the Virgin Islands at Tillet Gardens during the Martin Luther King weekend.
We also give away a live CD from the great songwriting pair of Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham. And we will give away a sampler from the new Rolling Stones CD and a CD from the blues band, the Billy Gibson Band. You also have a chance to win a CD single from Dwight Twilley.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line, and Sinker and Molly Molones.
