Dec. 1, 2005 — To accommodate the festival kick off Tramp on Saturday at 6 p.m. the following parking restrictions and street closings are scheduled for Frederiksted.
According to the V.I. Police Department, the tramp will begin at the Post Office, and proceed on Fisher Street and King Street, ending at the Budhoe Park
Effective 4 p.m. until the completion of the event, the department will have the following parking restrictions and street closings:
— No parking on Fisher Street from the Post Office to the intersection of King Street.
— No parking on King Street from the intersection of Fisher Street to the intersection of Queen Street and the Midre Cummings Recreational Park.
Any vehicle found parked in the restricted areas will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense.
No vehicular traffic will be allowed on the tramp route from 5:30 p.m.
