Dec. 15, 2005 – St. Croix residents can expect power interruptions on a small section of Feeder 3 on Saturday and a small section of Feeder 9 on Sunday.
According to a press release from the V.I. Water and Power Authority, customers in the Beeston Hill, Questa Verde, and Hermon Hill areas will be affected from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday. On Sunday, customers in the Constitution Hill area will be affected between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m.
During the service interruptions, WAPA line crews will connect new lines to recently planted poles and complete the relocation of Feeder 9. This will permit easier access to Feeder 9 by WAPA line personnel.
The release said every effort will be made to complete the work as soon as possible. Motorists are asked to proceed with caution in the construction areas and to obey all traffic directions.
