Jan. 4, 2006 – Traffic will be diverted and water service interrupted from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday while the V.I. Water and Power Authority replaces and upgrades a major service connection and associated meter boxes in the Kronprindsens Gade area.
There will be no through traffic allowed on Kronprindsens Gade adjacent to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, so eastbound and westbound traffic will be diverted to the waterfront. The public is asked to obey all traffic directions.
This work continues WAPA's efforts to make improvements to its infrastructure before the Department of Public Works repaves road surfaces in the area, a release from the authority said.
