I hope whoever committed this heinous act is brought to justice. I hope they find them and I hope they find them soon, and give them what they deserve for taking a brilliant man's life. I knew the man through my neighbor, who is a dear friend. She was with him the evening he died. He was a wonderful, giving person. I am traveling to St. Croix for my honeymoon in March, and sincerely hope there will not be any loose criminals running around. Find them and put them away, forever.

This is a very tragic and sad day. I have worked for Royal Caribbean for years as well as other cruise lines, and being a fellow entertainer on-board knew Blair Shannon. This type of crime is rare…however, we've been warned about recent robberies targeting crew members from the cruise line for the past two yrs. St. Thomas and the local authorities need to take extra patrol in some areas esp. those near the Kmart where some locals would accost us while shopping there for the day. Some of our women are even afraid of going there alone. I hope they catch this killer and put him away for good. I wish the Shannon family peace as they mourn. I am sure this will put a HUGE damper on the tourism industry in St. Thomas. If not by the companies doing…surely by word of mouth through the crew and staff.

I am stunned and horrified to hear this tragic news about Blair. I am his realtor & friend here in Cincinnati, Ohio. His passing leaves a great void. God be with him & his precious daughter, Chelsey. Now she has lost both parents.

We are all changed now that "someone" took Blair Shannon from us…I am furious and hugely saddened about this news…This big, beautiful, talented, inspirational, real, man has brought joy to peoples lives for years even through his own personal tragedy…He has always had dignity, humor, passion and talent and he is and truly was one of the great ones…Anyone who's known him or simply been in his audience is now at a serious loss for the senseless, rude violence that took this man. My deepest prayers are with Blair's family and I sincerely hope that whomever is responsible for terminating my friend, are dealt with as harshly and as severely as possible…The world just lost one of it's brightest lights…We were bro's and I will miss Blair Shannon forever….
