Beach Advisory for January 23 – 27

Jan. 27, 2006 – Commissioner Dean C. Plaskett of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) announced that the Division of Environmental Protection's (DEP) Beach Water Quality Monitoring Program, which evaluates weekly water quality at 42 popular swimming beaches throughout the territory, advises the public of the following:

DPNR-DEP performed water quality analysis at the 42 designated beaches throughout the Territory during the week of Jan. 23 – 27, 2006. All 42 beaches meet water quality standards and are safe for swimming or fishing:

Buccaneer
Davis Bay
Cane Bay
Cramer's Park
Grapetree Bay
Pelican Cove (Cormorant)

Gentle Winds
Rainbow
Sprat Hall
Shoy's
Halfpenny
New Fort (Ft. Louise Augusta)

St. Thomas
Water Bay
Lindquist
Sapphire
Magens Bay
Bluebeards
Coki Point
Secret Harbor
