It is with great interest that I am reading about the possibility of Merchants Bank operating in the Virgin Islands. I sincerely hope that the VI Banking Board approves this bank, and I also have my fingers crossed that they will consider a branch here on St. John. If they open a branch on St. John, I will be among the first customers to open ccounts there!
