Montessori Education Week Observed
The Virgin Islands Montessori School on St. Thomas will be observing Montessori Education Week from Feb. 26 to March 4 with a variety of school activities.
Students will be reading the writings of Dr. Maria Montessori, founder of the Montessori method of teaching, and participating in various art projects. The week will culminate with a pizza lunch in recognition of Dr. Montessori's Italian roots.
