This CD includes an amazing assortment of live in-concert recordings by some of the greatest legendary blues artists, including Big Mama Thornton, Howling Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Willie Dixon and more. These recordings are from appearances these artists made in Europe.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "One Foot Out the Door" from singer-songwriter Abi Tapia, another exciting talent from the musically rich city of Austin, Texas.
We include music from the Big Happy, who will be appearing in the Virgin Islands beginning March 8 and from both James Cotton and the Nighthawks, who appear at this year's Coors Light St. John Blues Festival.
We also celebrate the birthdays of James Taylor and Paul Kantner of the Jefferson Airplane.
We will play new music from Bobby Bare, modern folk artist Sarah Harmer, Jules Shear, Susan Tedeschi and others.
