April 7, 2006 – Mary Elizabeth Walwyn died on April 1, in Florida, at the age of 70. She was the president of the Women's Group and was very active in the Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Thurston Walwyn; sons: Leroy R., Paul G., David M., Adson A., Delroy T. and Wilbert L. Walwyn; daughters: Leona Sweeney and Beverly A. Walwyn, and stepson, Leroy Samuel. She is also survived by sister, Sara May Thomas; and brothers: Alfred Louis Collins and Eddie Mollineaux. Other survivors include 14 grandchildren, and many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Friday, April 7, at the Davis Funeral Home. There will be a second viewing from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., on Monday, April 10, at the Wesleyan Holiness Church, to be followed by funeral services at the church at 10 a.m.
