News Brief: Roosevelt Park Closed For Restoration

April 21, 2006 – The Department of Housing, Parks and Recreation has officially closed Roosevelt Park, while a restoration project is completed.
The park, located at the intersection of Norre Gade and Hospital Gade, will be closed to the public until further notice.
The viewing stand for senior citizens during the Carnival Children's Parade and Adult's Parade will be erected in front of Roosevelt Park, according to a release from the department's assistant commissioner, Stanley D. Smith.
