Beach Advisory for April 24–April 27

April 27, 2006 – The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) announced that the Division of Environmental Protection's (DEP) Beach Water Quality Monitoring Program, which evaluates weekly water quality at 42 popular swimming beaches throughout the territory, advises the public of the following:

DPNR-DEP performed water quality analysis at the 42 designated beaches throughout the territory during the week of April 17- April 21, 2006. All 42 beaches meet water quality standards and are safe for swimming or fishing:

Frederiksted (First Target)
Teague Bay
Chenay Bay
New Fort (Ft. Louise Augusta)
Sprat Hall
Buccaneer
Davis Bay
Cane Bay

Columbus Landing
Grapetree Bay
Pelican Cove (Comorant)
Gentle Winds
Halfpenny
Rainbow

St. Thomas
Water Bay
Lindquist
Sapphire
Magens Bay
Vessup Bay
Bluebeards
Coki Point
Secret Harbor
