May 4, 2006 – The Advertising Club of the Virgin Islands is hosting its annual auction, "Pirates, Pleasures and Treasures," at 7 p.m., on Saturday, May 13, at Holiday Inn Windward Passage Hotel.
The auctioneer will be George Blackhall and the co-host will be Lydia Harris. The auction benefits the Ad Club's summer internship program, which exposes young people to careers in the advertising industry. Everyone is encouraged to wear a pirate outfit and have a swashbuckling time.
