May 4, 2006 – The pier at Ann E. Abramson Marine Facility in Frederiksted is closed immediately to all recreational swimming and scuba diving activities, according to a press release from V.I. Port Authority Executive Director Darlan Brin.
Because of ongoing dredging at the pier, this action is being taken to ensure public safety, the release said.
