Audubon: Bird Watching Walk and Snorkeling Tour


Oct. 29, 2006 – The Audubon Club of St. Thomas will be conducting a bird watching, swimming and snorkeling tour on Sunday, from 7:30 a.m. to noon, on Nov. 5, on the island of St. John. Participants will see the fascinating beauty of local and migrating birds; explore the wonders of the underworld of amazing sea creatures; swim in crystal clear water; and sun bath on white sand.
Participants should bring binoculars, a bird guide, note pad, swimwear, mask, snorkel and fins, a snack and a bottle of water. There is a fee of $30 for members and $40 for non-members, which covers the ferry round trip tickets and shuttle transportation costs. Participants on St. Thomas should meet at the Red Hook Dock at 6 a.m. sharp!
