What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Nov. 21, 2006 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 26. This Sunday we will feature Aaron Neville, Bo Ramsey, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan, Shirley Caesar and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Bring It On Home, the Soul Classics" by Aaron Neville. Aaron gives his own personal touch to soul music classics originally recorded by such greats as Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye and the Temptations.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Stranger Blues" from Bo Ramsey. Ramsey, who has been a respected producer and sideman in the roots music field, records his version of some blues classics.
We celebrate the birthdays of Celtic vocalist Cathie Ryan, Fleetwood Mac's John McVie, Tina Turner, blues artist Bernard Allison and Amos Garrett. We remember soulful singer James Carter on the anniversary of his death. One of his final performances was in the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"
We include music from Anna Cheek, who will be playing in the Virgin Islands in December and the music of Angelique Kidjo, who appears at the Reichhold Center on Jan. 13.
We play new music from Calvin Owens, Ron Hynes, Bob Dylan, Rachel Sage and more.
We also include music from the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Shirley Caesar, Mel Brown and more.
