April 18, 2007 – The Baha'is of the Virgin Islands will hold their annual convention Saturday and Sunday, April 21 and 22, at the Baha'i National Center in Contant, on St. Thomas.
The primary purpose of the convention is for Baha'i delegates, elected from the many local communities in the British Virgin Islands and U.S.V.I., to elect nine adult members of the Baha'i Faith to serve in the National Spiritual Assembly for a one-year term. A letter sent from the Universal House of Justice will be read and discussed at the convention. Also, recommendations from Baha'i Communities throughout the V.I. that are given to their delegates will be presented and discussed.
