Aug. 20, 2007 – The Hispanic Ministry at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral on St. Thomas will celebrate a memorial Mass in Spanish for earthquake victims in Peru on at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 9.
A second collection will support the Catholic Relief Services workers assisting survivors of Peru's worst earthquake in 30 years. Over 510 people died and over 1,500 others were injured by the 8.0-magnitude earthquake on Aug. 15.
