Dec. 24, 2007 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 30. This Sunday we will feature music by Ringo Starr, Arusha, Mindy Smith, Del Shannon, the Dixie Chicks, Cream and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Live at Soundstage" by Ringo Starr. This recording comes from a 2005 concert featuring Ringo with his regular band, the Roundheads. We hear a combination of Ringo's solo hits as well as some of his Beatle favorites.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Look Up" from the band Arusha. Arusha mixes blues, funk, and roots rock to bring a unique blend of music to the table.
We play new music from Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Mindy Smith, Tracy Grammer and more.
We also play music from George Thorogood, Cream, the Beatles, the Dixie Chicks, Traveling Wilburys and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of folk artist Debi Smith, Bo Diddley, John Hartford, Steve Chapin, rock producer Felix Papalardi, Del Shannon, Suzy Boggus, folk artist Jim Henry, Michael Nesmith and Jeff Lynne. We remember songwriter Bert Berns on the anniversary of his death.
We include music from Terri Hendrix, who will be appearing on Jan. 23, at Tillett Gardens on St. Thomas. We also include music from Down the Line. Dan and Levi of Down the Line will be playing a number of dates in the Virgin Islands.

We give away a copy of Debi Smith's double CD, "The Soprano," and the latest release from the Phantom Blues Band.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
