Jan. 9, 2008 — Effective immediately, customers of Planning and Natural Resources will get to park at the Cyril E. King Airport, where DPNR's office is located, for an hour for free.
The move, according to a news release from Government House, is part of an overall policy of the deJongh-Francis Administration to build a more customer- and business-friendly government.
The initiative is part of an agreement between the V.I. Port Authority and DPNR.
After doing business with DPNR, patrons may get their parking tickets stamped at the cashier booth before leaving the premises.
