Jan. 17, 2008 — Innovative Telephone President and CEO Clarke Garnett announced Thursday that Zenzilé M. Hodge has been named vice president for human resources.
“This is a tremendous opportunity,” Hodge said. “I am happy to be in the position to play a role in shaping the company’s workforce during its current transitional period. For me, it’s a culmination of years of educational and professional development.”
Hodge, who recently served as Yacht Haven Grande’s Director of Human Resources, has worked with other telecommunications companies including Qwest Communications International, Inc. and the Motorola Energy Systems Group. She earned her master’s degree in public administration management at Clark Atlanta University, and a bachelor of science degree at Florida A&M University.
She is certified as a senior professional of human resources and has served on the Project Management Institute HR Specific Interest Group, and the National Forum for Black Public Administrators, among others.
“As we move forward with the company’s transitional period, I am confident Mrs. Hodge’s knowledge of organizational development, change management and knowledge of labor laws, compensation, and labor/employee relations and organizational development will prove her to be an excellent addition to our team,” Garnett said.
