Fish and Wildlife Will Conduct Bat Survey

0

The Department of Planning and Natural Resources' Division of Fish and Wildlife and Island Resources Foundation, in association with the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, are conducting research on the bats of St. Thomas and St. John. This research is to determine the bats' habitat use and distribution.
The public is invited to attend a special survey session to learn about the project, see some bats up close, and find out how to protect bats in the environment. This event will be held from 6:30-9:30 p.m., on Friday, March 14, at Magens Bay, Shed 3.
