What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

March 11, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, March 16. This Sunday we will feature music by The Band, Richard Hawley, Deana Carter, T-Bone Walker, Tab Benoit, Chubby Carrier and more. With the time change in the States, the program now will air from 1-3 p.m., every Sunday.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Best of a Musical History" from The Band. This CD includes a number of the highlights from this newly released box set.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Lady's Bridge" from a very interesting singer-songwriter Richard Hawley, who has a smooth sound with tasteful orchestration and fine vocals.
We play new music from Ann Wilson, Deana Carter, the Waco Brothers and more.
We also play music from Patty Griffin, Watermelon Slim and the Workers, Duke Robillard and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of folk and bluegrass musician Tim O'Brien, Heart member Nancy Wilson, and Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel. We remember blues greats T-Bone Walker and Arthur Gunter on the anniversary of their deaths.
We include music from Tab Benoit, Sean Carney, Waylon Thibodeaux and Chubby Carrier, who will appear at this year's St. John Blues Festival. We also include music from Reverend Raven and the Chain Smokin Altar Boys, who are playing at various venues in the Virgin Islands, and from Cletus McBride, who will be performing on St. Patrick's Day at Molly Molones' St. Patrick's Day celebration. We also play music from Dave Gerard and Truffle, who are playing dates at various venues in the V.I.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
