June 3, 2008 – HOPE Inc. will hold its “Wear Red Affair” at 7 p.m., on Sunday, June 29, at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Beach Resort. The event will feature a very special guest, Sheryl Lee Ralph. The film, television and Broadway actress will perform her one-woman show “Sometimes I Cry.” The play was written by Ms. Ralph and was inspired by the real life stories of women infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
Proceeds from this event will be used to assist Virgin Islanders who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, which continues to be one of the most debilitating, chronic diseases affecting the community.
Tickets include a performance by Sheryl Lee Ralph, hors’douvres and drinks. Food and additional beverages can be ordered through the hotel at additional costs. All funds raised at this event will go directly to providing services to individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
