Oceanside Pharmacy/Doctor's Choice Now Accepts MAP Card

June 24, 2008 – Oceanside Pharmacy/Doctor's Choice, located in Plaza Extra East on St. Croix is now accepting the Medical Assistance Program (MAP) card. This is the third pharmacy since March to begin accepting the Medicaid cards and the 12th pharmacy territory-wide to partner with the Department of Health's Medical Assistance Program to offer convenient locations where residents can get prescriptions, according to a press release from Commissioner of Health Vivian I. Ebbesen-Fludd.
In March, the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Sunny Isle, U-Save Pharmacy in Gallow's Bay and Christian's Pharmacy in downtown Frederiksted began accepting the MAP cards along with K-Mart West and Oceanside Pharmacy in Plaza Extra.
In the St. Thomas-St. John districts, the MAP cards are accepted at K-Mart in Tutu Park Mall, Doctor's Choice Pharmacy (Time Center location only), Chelsea Drug Store in Red Hook, Nisky Pharmacy and Drug Farm Pharmacy Inc. on St. Thomas. The card is also accepted at Chelsea Drug Store in Cruz Bay, St. John.
