July 31, 2008 – Cancer Support VI announces the next free presentation by Lori Sebastian, LMT, certified manual lymph drainage therapist, of the Therapeutic Massage Center, St. Thomas, on how to manage lymphadema. The free lectures will be held at noon, on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the Kimelman Cancer Institute, Bennie and Martha Benjamin Medical Auditorium; and it will be held a second time at 7 p.m., at Antilles School in the Mark Marin Center, Children's Activity room on the 1st floor near the back entrance.
The mission of Cancer Support VI is to provide support, education, information and assistance to people living with cancer and their families and friends. If you or someone in your family has been affected by breast cancer, join CSVI and Lori Sebastian and learn how to manage the severe swelling in the arms after breast surgery called lymphadema. Lori will take questions. All are welcome.
