Sept. 18, 2008 – Innovative PowerNet has upgraded its network to provide faster Internet speeds for its business and government customers.
"We've increased the speeds of all our business DSL packages for both new and existing customers," Innovative PowerNet General Manager Peter Hayden said. "In fact, most of our current customers will see their speeds doubled."
A customer's specific change in speed will depend on what business DSL package they have–bronze, silver or gold level.
"We're working very hard to make sure PowerNet continues to be the highest quality, best value and most reliable Internet service in the U.S. Virgin Islands," Hayden said. "We hope this major upgrade will help our business and government customers better meet their technology demands and improve productivity."
Earlier this year, the company announced network enhancements that not only enables higher speeds to growing numbers of Internet customers, both residential and business, but also increases service reliability as the company is better able to reroute Internet traffic around network problems.
