Sept. 24, 2008 – The Department of Housing, Parks and Recreation is asking the community to submit information on athletes they would like to be included in the department's database now being compiled. Commissioner St. Claire N. Williams also encourages the public to submit questions and answers about local sports to be included in a sports trivia section on the department's Web site.
DHPR is continuing to make every effort to promote local sports and athletes alike.
