Bagoon…I Miss Him

Dear Source:
At one time a long time ago (it seems) I shared the microphone with Mr. O'Reilly at WSTX AM 790 AM radio. Doc James was a regular then, Charra Hyliger with his sports program among others, Miss Jesica Tuetien of Gallows Bay had Docs and Bagoons attention continually….
I did the sign-on shift at the station at Ft. Luise Augusta Monday through Friday at 6:00am and George would follow with his Good Morning Caribean Program, hailing our neighbors on every island that the 5000 watts of signal strength of 790am would reach. Good Morning Barbuda….Antigua…Montserrat…..St. Thomas, St. John…and so forth….He would rock the air ways with the best West Indian music and vibes available…he was a true ambassador of West Indian Culture and warmth. He was a great Grand Marshal for one of the anual St. Patricks Day Parades, he supported his community and had many friends.
Rest in peace old friend….you are missed.
