Cancer Support V.I. Hosts Speaker on Lung Cancer

Jan. 20, 2009 – Cancer Support VI announces the next free presentation will be given by Dr. Daniel Nader, DO, FCCP of Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Dr. Nader leads the interventional pulmonology (lung center) program at CTCA at Southwestern Regional Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He will discuss the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. It is important to note that the most common region to which breast cancer spreads is the bone, followed by the lung.
The free lecture will be held twice on Wednesday, Feb. 4: at noon, at the Kimelman Cancer Institute in the Benjamin Medical Auditorium; and at 7 p.m., at Antilles School in the Mark Marin Center, in the Children's Activity Room on the first floor, near the back entrance.
The mission of Cancer Support VI is to provide support, education, information and assistance to people living with cancer and their families and friends.
