Jan. 21, 2009 – Gibson & Behman P.C., a leading national law firm known for providing progressive and economical solutions to its clients since 1987, has announced its new St. Croix office slated to open in February at a location outside of the Henry E. Rholsen International Airport.
Brian Dougan, a director of the law firm and head of the firm's Rhode Island office, will oversee the new St. Croix office working with a team of attorneys and administrative support staff.
The office will replace the firm's St. John location, according to Dougan, and will allow better access to district courts on both St. Croix and St. Thomas.
"We felt the need to move to a larger location and found the ideal spot in St. Croix," said Dougan, noting that the firm will represent one of the largest health care networks in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The St. Croix practice will focus on civil litigation, personal injury, product liability and workers compensation for businesses and insurance companies throughout St. Croix and St. Thomas.
"We look forward to the opening of our St. Croix office and are delighted that Brian Dougan will serve as its director," said Daniel P. Gibson, managing partner. "With the growing demand for legal representation in the U.S. Virgin Islands, we felt the time was right to expand our practice at what we know will be a vital new location."
