Show Up on Time

Dear Source:

A scheduled meeting with the need of 21 for a quorum — that must mean there are a lot of people trying to construct the new "rule of the law" for USVI, but, do nothing officially after over 10 hours?? Committee members, shame on you; you have asked and received money–how much more money does the government need to spend for confirmed no shows and "petty, arguing representatives–or should I say children? This is suppose to be an important package that needs to be approved by the "official government" to make the USVI a better place. Do you persons on the committee understand you are elected for a very important position/job? I wonder if you as elected persons understand or know that "time is important." Why if some of you have more important things to do, just say no–get out, but what if committed?, show up on time? Let's not pass on the "Island Time" syndrome. Yup not waste of time– but time is valuable.
Representatives, please be responsible for the public's best interest. Arguing and walking out of a room "to prove a point"?? Just shame on all of you for letting it happen.
