FirstBank Hires John McQuiggin as Branch Manager

Feb. 5, 2009 – John McQuiggin recently joined FirstBank's Eastern Caribbean Region as branch manager of its Cruz Bay, St. John branch. He has over 20 years of related managerial experience in banking.
As manager, McQuiggin will oversee the sales, service and operational aspects for business and consumer clients of the branch. Robert Falzarano, vice president and market manager for St. Thomas-St. John, said, "FirstBank is excited to bring on board a manager with a strong sales and service background. John has extensive experience and a solid understanding of the sales culture, which will compliment our dedicated operational team at the Cruz Bay branch."
McQuiggin has worked in the banking industry in the state of Michigan for many years, with positions at First Bank Upper Peninsula, Bank of Ann Arbor, LaSalle Bank/Bank of America and, most recently, as assistant vice president and branch manager of Paramount Bank in Ferndale, Michigan. He earned an ABA in Business Studies from Gogebic Community College and is a graduate of the Northern Michigan School of Banking. He has been very active in various philanthropic organizations and has served on the board of directors of the local Chamber of Commerce in Michigan.
