Feb. 24, 2009 – Ann Leonie Gumbs died on Feb. 20, at her residence, Lindberg Bay No. 23. She was 94 years old.
She is survived by daughter, Evelyn Olive; son-in-law, Leopold Olive; nieces: Edna Greaux, Shirley Graham and Valerie Pereira; and nephew, Jean R. Greaux. She is also survived by grandchildren: Angela Olive, Bunny Giddings, Geraldine Lima, and Thomas, Lawrence and Patrick Olive, Linda Maratea and Wayne Harrigan; special great-grandchildren: Heather and Diego Lima, Jada and Pablo Concepcion and many others; special great-great-granchidren: Joshua Greenaway, Jaiden Henley and many others; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m., Wednesday, March 4, at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral.
