March 3, 2009 – American Legion Post 131 of St. John announces its coed softball league for girls and boys, ages 9 to 14. Post 131 will supply all equipment, but players should provide gloves. Practices will begin at 4 p.m., Monday, March 16, at the National Park field.
Registration forms are available at Connections and at the St. John Community Foundation office, third floor, Marketplace. Cost per player is $20 and includes equipment, playing jersey, end of season party and participation trophy. Coaches and umpires are needed.
