April 9, 2009 – Surrel Cuffy of Lorraine Village died on April 6, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 54 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Leoma Cuffy-Jackson, Beverly Scotland, Natasha Lawrence and Shernelle Bernard; sons: Gee Cuffy Jr., Glen and Bertrand Ettienne; brothers: Antione Baptiste, Simon Baptiste and Oliver Emmanuel; and sisters: Justine Baptiste, Justina Baptiste, Charlotte Cambran and Florence Hananansigh. She is also survived by grandchildren: Tamia, Denella, Rahiem, Glenson, Arie, Kerr, Kevin, Quann, Kishon, Keuch, Bert, Bertly, Keyra, Jamal and Malik; aunt, Angelina Pascal, uncle, Thomas Baptiste; close friends: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Celestine, Paula, John, Nelly, Sylvester, Clara, Mr. and Mrs. Lynworth Cuffy, Monica Polydore, Elbert, Simon, Curt, Kent, Nurse, Green, Patricia, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Abraham; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The entire family of Surrel Cuffy would like to thank everyone that held her up in their thoughts and prayers.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, in Dominica, West Indies.
