May 5, 2009 – Radiance Vashti Barrow, also known as "Rae," of Estate Solitude died on April 28, at her residence. She was 100 years old.
She is survived by her sister, Helen J. Roebuck; sister-in-law, Anita B. Moorhead; nieces: Geraine M. Armstrong, Joy R. Perez, Radiance R. Irwin and Aileen R. Biggs; nephews: Colin B. Moorhead, Richard R. Sr., Chesley S. and Harold L.M. Roebuck; 24 great nieces and great nephews; and 37 great-great nieces and great-great nephews. She is also survived by special families and friends: the Roebuck, Moorhead, Danielson, James, Astor, Motta, Fabio, Williams, Hennemann, Bough, Finch, Barrow and Ouckama families, Carl and Yvonne Jackson, Dolly Edgehill, Aileen Burgam, Phyllis Bayley and family, Pastor Fredi Eckhardt, Pastor Lawrence McPharlem, Marguerite Daniels, Stephen Roache, Asta Gibbs and family, the Rosedale family, Gladys Rholsen, Diedre Rholsen, Beverly Williams; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Monday, May 11, at the Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
