Coors Light presents the Pre-Bastille Games, May 23 and 24, at the Hull Bay Hideaway, as a warm-up for the Annual Bastille Day Kingfish Tournament, which will be held on July 12.
Register to play poker from 4-5:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 23. The cost is $30 per person. Poker (Texas Hold ’Em-Las Vegas Style) starts at 6 p.m. and will last until 11 p.m.
Register to play dominoes, whist, darts and horseshoes from 9-10:30 a.m., on Sunday, May 24. The cost is $40 per person. Two-person teams will be drawn randomly after registration. The games will begin at 11 a.m. sharp. Registration includes a free Coors Light or water.
Cash prizes will be awarded for first and second-place winners. There’s also free angler registration into the 21st Annual Bastille Day Kingfish Tournament. Proceeds from the event will go towards making the 21st Bastille Day Kingfish Tournament one to remember.
The tournament, set for July 12, at Hull Bay Hideaway, attracts nearly 300 anglers – including over 30 junior anglers – and over 70 boats. It's run by the not-for-profit Northside Sportfishing Club and annually makes donations to community organizations such as the Joseph Sibilly School, St. Thomas Rescue, the American Red Cross St. Thomas-St. John Chapter, and KidScope. The Club also provides college scholarships to students.
