June 12, 2009 — A 16-year-old girl who ran away from her foster home in Golden Rock, St. Croix, on June 5 was found late Thursday evening in the Richmond area with friends, according to a statement from the Department of Human Services.
Shalena Prosper was returned to the custody of DHS Friday by police. She was reported missing by her aunt, who is also her foster parent.
Prosper has a brief history of going missing for hours at a time, according to DHS.
