June 20, 2009 – Twenty-one non-profit organizations will receive a total of $20,000 in contributions from Hovensa L.L.C. as the result of the Hovensa President's 11th Annual Golf Tournament, which was held on Saturday, June 13, at the Carambola Golf Club. Two hundred employees of Hovensa, its contractors and vendors competed in the tournament.
Members of the Hovensa's Leadership Team (HLT), which is comprised of the officers of the company, organized a team and challenged the other 49 teams for the better low net score. The teams that bettered or tied the score of the HLT team were able to designate a charity of their choice to receive a $100 contribution from the company.
