Partners for Health St. Thomas-St. John will honor three people, who will be presented at the organization’s 30th annual ball at the Wyndam Sugar Bay Resort. The theme of the formal event is “Celebrate Our 30th With Diamonds and Pearls.” They are Edward Elroy Thomas, president and CEO of the West Indian Company, Blondell Williams, MSN, RN, vice president for nursing of the Schneider Regional Medical Center, and Claudette Charles, medical technician of the Cranston-Dottin Medical Laboratory.
Those wishing to extend congratulations in the ball’s booklet can contact Barbara Holder at 775-3141. Tickets, which are $100, can be obtained at Gottlieb’s Quickway, Home Again in Red Hook or from members of the board.
The organization has a rich history of providing funds for purchase of needed equipment and services for the SRMC. It recently provided a total care chair/bed for the Intensive Care Unit. It is currently raising money for a telemetric unit.
