James N. Jones Jr., also known as “Jimmy” or “King Dasaty” died on Sept. 14, at Schneider Regional Medical Hospital.
He is survived by his mother, Princess M. Silcott; Royal Family Empress Tulani Brathwaite; daughter, Dasjahlani Jones; son, Biblical Jones; brothers: Clifton Shoy and Allinton Silcott; and sister, JoAnn Jones. He is also survived by several aunts, including Clarita Blyden-Richardson and Pauline Daley; uncles, including Edward Silcott; niece, Lorna Moses; nephew, Bernard Jones Jr.; special cousins: Junior Morvin Lee, Lorraine, Rondale, Alvin and Baba Silcott, and Robert Adkins; special friends: Melvin Smith, Barbara Richards, Ras Manny and Ras Bobby, the Rastafari community; and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Jones and two sisters: Rosalind Shoy and June Jones-Lake.
Viewing will take place at Davis Funeral Home at 9 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 30, with services at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Eastern Cemetery.
The family requests that attendees wear bright colors in celebration of his life.
